Impact of Quality of Life Development Schemes to Economic Development

Abstract

The objective of this study was to find out the relationship between quality of life development scheme and econemic development in rural area. Secondary data was performed in the way to find out the solution to the objective. The result of this study were as following: (1) Quality of life development scheme of NESDB had significant relationship with the reduction of poverty in the rural area especially for the community that had potentiallity fot self-reliance development, but not for some areas that needed to spend long time to go. (2) It was needed that the additional strategies might be joined together with quality of life development schemes. Those strategies should be (2.1) Self-reliance development (2.2) Intersectoral oriented. (2.3) Equity in distribution of government resources.
