Abstract

Quality of life development schemes which handled by 4 major Ministries under the project of National Mass Campaign for Quality of Life applied many concepts from Buddhism intentionally and unintentionally according to “reality” of that concept which related naturally to teaching content of Buddha. Based on the condition of dynamic change in society, quality of life in frame of basic minimum needs was set relevant to continuous change of condition in society. However, it was needed to have the supported strategies such as (a) self-reliance development, (b) intersectoral oriented, and (c) equity in distribution of resources.
