Abstract

Jasmine cultivation in winter, summer and rainy seasons would incur an average cost of about 15,044.10, 17,411.13 and 25,116.19 Baht per rai, average selling price per litre were 57.50, 24.50 and 32.50 Baht respectively. It was found that the yield in summer was 1,321.00 litre per rai raining season and winter season were 1,100.00 and 341.00 litre per rai respectively. In terms of rate of return to investment it was found that the rainy season yields greater revenue than those of the other seasons. A note can be made from the study that the highest yields are from summer season. In economic terms, the rate of return on investment in summer, winter and rainy season were 31.05, 20.99 and 22.92% respectively with payback period in 16 months.
