Abstract

The study on costs and return on rose production of 4 popular cultivars; namely, Christian Dior, Eiffel Tower, Swartmore and Yankee Doodle, found that the cost of Eiffel Tower and Swartmore was lowest, which was 0.22 Baht / flower, while that of Christian Dior wad highest, (0.35 Baht/flower). The Net income from Yankee Doodle was highest, but that of the Christian Dior was lowest. Pay back period of production investment was 1 year for Eiffel Tower, Swartmore and YanKee Doodle, and 2 years for Christian Dior. The Net present Value (NPV) was positive for all cultivars investment.
