Thai Women’s Role and Attitude in Organization Development Emphasis on Universities and Institution of Management Science.

The main purposes of this research were to study the woman instructors’ attitude toward organization development and propose the guidelines to enhance their working capabilities. The questionnaires as the research tool were administrated to the randomly selected instructors from the representative institutions located at the North, Northeast and South, under the office of the University Affairs. The results of study revealed as follows : 1) most of the woman instructors on the management science confirmed their families were not the main factors influencing on their decision making and directing ; 2) their working positions were depended heavily on the professional degrees ; 3) their serious working problems were the bureaucratic red tape and the budget limitation ; 4) the high responsibility and proficiency in working were necessary for being the instructor in university ; 5) salary, compensation and justice played the crucial roles on encouraging their capability development ; 6) their planning roles on organizational development were limited, however, the working atmosphere was impressive in general. Therefore, it was recommended that the professional opportunities should be provided in terms of training courses suitable for their need and emphasis on how to work with their colleagues, development on the management science courses and truthful promotion on doing the research. The creative thinking atmosphere should be encouraged. The administrators should be ready to honestly promote their subordinates on morale and spirit in working.
