Factors Influencing Performance Efficiency of Non-Academic Staff of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

This research aims to study factors influencing performance efficiency of non-academic staff of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) by comparing the performance efficiency of the government officials and "new status" government officials at KMITL, classified by gender, age, educational level, position level (in case of the government officials only), salary level, duration of work, type of internal organization and type of personnel status. In addition, the study of the competency factors and the attractive motivation of the performance factors and included. The samplings in this research government officials and "new status" government officials at KMITL. Statistical methods employed are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Hypotheses are tested by the stepwise regression analysis, t-test, F-test (to test pairs of difference by Scheffe's test), using statistical package. The results show that the opinion in overall performance efficiency of both government officials and "new status" government officials is at the high level. Both officials, having differences in educational level, position level and duration of work, give significantly different opinion in performance efficiency at the .05. The competency factors (such as knowledge and behavior and the attractive motivation of the performance factors (such as recognition, merit in organization and gob security) influence the performance efficiency of both officials about 60.90%.
