Abstract

     Objectives of the study were to determine opinion level and the difference of the opinion of hilltribe people on Ban Lek Nai Pa Yai Royal Initiated Project, Khlong Lan District, Kamphaeng Phet Province. The data using for the study were gathered by a design questionnaire to interview 105 respondents residing in the project area. The statistical analysis methods using for testing the hypothesis was F-test with the given statistical significance of .05. Results of the study indicated that the opinion of hilltribe people on Ban Lek Nai Pa Yai project was at a moderate level, with the average score of 2.85. The opinions were categorized into 4 aspects namely the project appropriatenss, the project forest rehabilitation, development of life quality and hilltribe way of life, and the participation in the project, all with the average score at moderate level. Factors affecting the opinion of hilltribe people on the project were ethnicity and total income.
