The Quality Management for Organic Fertilizer Production of Farmers in Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to study the quality of organic fertilizer production of the farmers, and 2) to study the factors affecting the quality of organic fertilizer production in Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province. The sample used in a research included 150 representative farmers from Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province. The research tool was the 5 levels of query questionnaires such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, variance, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) the overall and each aspect of farmers towards the quality of organic fertilizer production was at moderate level. When it was considered into each aspect, it found that the consumer aspect was at high level followed by price, product, and distribution channel. 2) Referring to the factors of organic fertilizer production, the overall aspect was at high level while the equipment and capital was in the first rank followed by the material, the system management and the personnel respectively. The personal factor affecting the quality of agricultural production was organic farming period, which was at significant level of 0.001.  Whereas household income was at significant level of .05.  The factors of producing organic fertilizers affect the quality of agricultural fertilizer production operation in Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi Province at the significant level of .001. It was revealed that the organic fertilizer production and personnel have associated with the quality of agricultural fertilizer production at the significant level of .001.
