Development of reading and writing ability to distribute Thai spelling Apply with PWIM learning managements of 1st Grade students

Abstract

            The aims of this experimental research are to 1) develop learning arrangements for reading and writing by giving Thai spelling to children. Using learning management according to the PWIM model that is effective 80/80 2) Studying the ability of reading and writing to distribute Thai spelling words to children. Using learning management according to the PWIM model during after school compared to the criteria of 80 percent and 3) Study student behavior towards reading and spelling activities using learning management according to the PWIM model. Target groups include: 5 Grade 1 students of Ban Loeng School Khon Kaen Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 The instruments used in the research include: 1) Thai language learning management plan according to the PWIM model, 2) a test to measure reading and writing spelling abilities, and 3) a form to observe the learning behavior of students at Statistics used in data analysis include percentage, mean and standard deviation.The results of the research found that 1) learning activities using the PWIM model were effective at 87.17/87.00 which was higher than the specified criteria. 2) students ability in reading and writing Thai spelling has a mean of 17.40 and a standard deviation of 1.14 representing an average percentage of 87.00 and all students pass the ability measurement criteria calculated as 100 percent and 3) Students have learning behavior in reading and writing, giving children spelling words in Thai. It's at a very good level.
