The Ecological Way that Appears in Wannakhadi Lamnam Textbooks Grade 1-6

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the nature and environment content appearing in Wannakhadi Lamnam textbooks; Grades 1-6 2) To study strategies for presenting the way of life that appear in Wannakhadi Lamnam textbooks. Grades 1-6 using the concept of ecocritic literary theory. Including concepts of literary elements and concepts of language strategies. used in the analysis of nature and environment content and presentation strategies in Wannakhadi Lamnam textbooks.

          The research results found that Studying the essence of nature and the environment through the ecological method in order to study the relationships between nature and the environment that appear in Wannakhadi Lamnam textbooks. Primary school level 1-6. The results of the study found that There are 3 types of natural and environmental substances through the way of life, appearing the most in order of appearing the least, as follows: landscape, the landscape conveying teachings and wisdom of Thai culture. As for the study of strategies for presenting the way of life in Wannakhadi Lamnam textbooks Grade 1-6, it was found that the nature and environment subjects used strategies to present the ecological aspects of literary elements. The most common in order are Strategies for presenting through the theme. Next are strategies for presenting through locations and scenes. Methods for presenting through characters and finally, strategies for presenting opinions  As for the strategy for presenting the ecological way of life, the most common language strategy is Using an analogy  Using rhetorical questions Choosing words Using perspective words Using different sentence structures and making claims.
