Social security of Social Enterprise Paths to Sustainable Development

Abstract

The important questions of this paper are "What are the factors of the success of Social Enterprise in foreign countries? And what should Thai society do to develop the success of Social Enterprise? "From these questions, it can be summarized and synthesized as follows:

 Social Enterprise is the new discourse. The period of the development is not too long but there is the rapid development without any referring to an original discourse. Its origin was from the grass roots called "Globalization from Below" and the main purpose is to change the world by creating new alternatives under the progress of capitalism. The original discourse has focused only on the role of social entrepreneurship and social innovation.

Three main factors of social enterprise success are based on Social mission, Social innovation, and Social impact - these three factors are important to create social value which is significant for social enterprise. There are six main factors supporting the strong and sustain development of social enterprises:1) Public policy. 2) The access to financial section and capital market. 3) Human Capital. 4) The development of markets and consumers reach. 5) the creation of the knowledge and awareness of social. 6) The development of basic structure/ network/ intermediate organizations in support.

The main factors contributing the success of social enterprise operating are: 1) Social Entrepreneurship. 2) Social mission.3) Social innovation. 4) Competitive advantages. 5) Stakeholder engagement. 6) Social ownership. 7) Scalability. 8) Social impact.
