กระบวนการการสร้างสถานการณ์ฝึกทางทหาร โดยใช้การจำลองการฝึกเสมือนจริง

Abstract

บทความวิจัยนี้อธิบายขั้นตอนการพัฒนากระบวนการสร้างสถานการณ์ฝึก (Scenario Development processes) สำหรับการฝึกในระดับยุทธวิธีทางทหาร โดยใช้การจำลองการฝึกเสมือนจริง (Virtual Simulation) ด้วยเครื่องมือการจำลองยุทธ์และการฝึกทางทหารซึ่งเป็นเครื่องมือในการพัฒนาสถานการณ์ฝึกทางทหารในลักษณะเดียวกับการพัฒนาเกม กระบวนการในการพัฒนาสถานการณ์ฝึกเริ่มจากการนำแผนบทเรียนที่เป็นเอกสารกำกับที่หน่วยฝึกศึกษาทางทหารมาเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นของ กระบวนการการสร้างสถานการณ์ฝึก โดยในเอกสารจะมีการกำหนดสถานการณ์ เหตุการณ์ และเกณฑ์มาตรฐานในการประเมินผลผู้เข้ารับการฝึก รวมถึงเวลาที่ผู้เข้ารับการฝึกควรจะใช้ในการตัดสินใจอย่างใดอย่างหนึ่งต่อสถานการณ์นั้นๆ แผนบทเรียนอาจเขียนมาจากบทเรียนจากการรบ ซึ่งถือเป็นข้อมูลที่สำคัญสำหรับการฝึกทางยุทธวิธีให้กับทหารที่ต้องออกปฏิบัติการในพื้นที่ นำไปสู่การหาข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมต่างๆ เพื่อในไปจัดทำเป็นบทดำเนินเรื่องและนำสู่การสร้างสถานการณ์ฝึกในที่สุด ผลที่ได้จากกระบวนการ การพัฒนาสิ่งแรกคือวิดีโอของสถานการณ์ฝึก ซึ่งเป็นภาพสถานการณ์ทั้งหมดและนำไปใช้ในการฝึกขั้นพื้นฐานซึ่งเป็นการฝึกใน ห้องเรียน ในลักษณะถามตอบแบบวิธีการของการทหารราบทั่วไป จากนั้นจึงนำเข้าสู่สถานการณ์ฝึกสำหรับการฝึกด้วยระบบสนามฝึกยิงปืนทางยุทธวิธีเสมือนจริง (Virtual Shooting Simulator) ของส่วนงานระบบเครื่องช่วยฝึกเสมือนจริง ในการฝึก ขั้นก้าวหน้า ซึ่งกระบวนการในการพัฒนาสถานการณ์ฝึกนี้ สอดคล้องกับแนวทางการจัดทำห้องเรียนจำลองการปฏิบัติการทาง ยุทธวิธีตามนโยบายของกองทัพบก

Scenario Development Processes for Military Training by Using Virtual Simulation

This research paper explains scenario development processes for military tactical missions. The tool for virtual simulation was adopted for tasks of military simulation and training. It is a kind of game development with slight difference from software development. The processes begin with a lesson plan as a doctrine on which the scenario development process is based. The document indicates training situation, event to model, criteria for test and evaluation and time spent for decision making on the situation under study. The lesson might have been written by or story-told by war veterans who input genuinely experienced mission scenarios to trainees through the training scenario being developed. The first result from the scenario development processes is a video of the training scenario. It contains all aspects of the training simulation to be used in field and classroom trainings. The latter forms an essential part of question and answer procedures of infantry training. That leads to a further stage of training in a virtual shooting simulator of the virtual simulation division. This was considered an advanced training step by the Royal Thai Army. The scenario development processes, thus, respond to an approach adopted to follow the army policy that demands a unit to develop a tactical training simulator.
