THE STUDY ON MONITORING AND EVALUATING THE RESEARCH UTILIZATION OF THE PROJECT FOR DEVELOP FRIENDLY HEALTH SERVICE SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN DETENTION CENTERS.

The study on monitoring and evaluation the research utilization of The project for develop a friendly health service system for children and youth in detention centers had objective to collect findings from the research utilization that has been put into practice in important dimensions and to develop policy recommendation guidelines for supporting project improvement. This research used qualitative research design by in depth interview with 17 informants and first focus group discussion with 18 people involved in the project implementation and the second time with 18 children and youth participating in the project selected by purposive sampling. The instrument used were in-depth interview form and group discussion questions Which analyzed and perform data validation by using data triangulation method.
The results of In-depth interview were, 1) The informants propose that the project can carry out its objectives, Goals had set and perform by followed action plans. 2) Children, youth and staff decided together in operation to lead the goal of creating a desirable model. 3) In terms of the benefits of the project, it contributes to the improvement of work efficiency, have a systematic work, children and youth showed potential, motivation, changed in behavior significantly. 4) There are clear measures for attending children and youth and received cooperation from related networks. As for the results of the focus group discussion, both groups of informants suggested that 1) The training center were operated according to the objectives which enabling children and youth to had a better quality of life and well-being. 2) The activities were appropriate for the style and needs, by offering more activities to develop the potential and aptitude of children and youth and should have knowledge transfer between staffs that will make the activities to proceed continuously.
