Potential Development of Development Planning Process of Tak Province, 2023 – 2027 Fiscal Year 2023

Abstract

The research article has purpose 1) to study the general condition, issues problems and development situation of Tak Province; 2) to analyze the environment and spatial development potential of Tak Province; 3) to present the goals and development issues of Tak Province.
This is qualitative research by in-depth interview, 20 key informants who are in the Integrated Provincial Administrative Committee, Tak Province. There were selected in purposive sampling. The instrument used was semi-structured interviews. Analysis according to logic according to research objectives and conceptual framework. The results of the study revealed that 1) Tak Province has the potential of the area linking the EWEC and NSEC Economic Corridors, thus being a strategic area for trade and investment, resulting in an increase in the province's gross domestic product and border trade value 2) Tak Province has strengths in terms of potential border areas, which are border trade bases and located on the economic corridor. There are important tourist attractions, beautiful natural resources. The main weakness of the province is its infrastructure. Utilities and utilities are not yet covered; and 3) the goals and development issues. Tak province places importance on and focuses on human-centered development along with other dimensions of development in line with the National Economic and Social Development Plan, stipulating that people have a better quality of life. create added value from agricultural products and generate income from tourism, service business and trade and investment in the area.
