A Study of Mathematics Learning Achievement on Decimals of the Lower Secondary School Students Grade 7 at Sriboonyanon School by Using Cooperative Learning Techniques LT

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study mathematics learning achievement on decimals for the lower secondary school students grade 7 at Sriboonyanon School by using cooperative learning management techniques LT 2) to study the students' satisfaction of the lower secondary school students grade 7 at Sriboonyanon School on decimals for learning by using cooperative learning management techniques LT. The sample group were 1 classroom of the lower secondary school students grade 7 at Sriboonyanon School, which was obtained by purposive sampling. The research tools were 1) 7 lesson plans of cooperative learning management using LT techniques on decimals of the lower secondary school students grade 7 2) twenty items of learning achievement tests on decimals and 3) satisfaction questionnaire of the lower secondary school students grade 7 towards learning by using cooperative learning LT techniques. The data was analyzed by percent, mean, standard deviation (S) and hypothesis testing by using t-test Dependent Sample, t-test for One Sample. The results found that 1) the mathematics learning achievement of the lower secondary school students grade 7 at Sriboonyanon School on decimals after learning by using cooperative learning management LT techniques was higher than before at .05 significant level. 2) the satisfaction of The lower secondary school students grade 7 at Sriboonyanon school, for learning by using cooperative learning management LT techniques was in high level.
