A Study of Teachers’ Opinions on Educational Management to Promote Educational Institutions’ Employment at the Basic Education Level

Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the level of teachers' opinions on educational management to promote school employability at the basic education level, and to compare teachers' opinions on educational management to promote school employability at the basic education level classified by school size. The sample used in this research was 1,638 teachers in educational institutions that organize basic education under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Local Government Organizations, Border Patrol Police Academy and Remote Area Schools. The instrument used to collect the data was an opinion questionnaire, which has an IOC consistency index (IOC) between 0.80 – 1.00 and a confidence value of 0.978.  The data were analyzed by the application of mean, standard deviation, and One-Way ANOVA. The results revealed that 1) teachers had an opinion on educational management to promote school employability at the basic education level; overall, it was at a high level (= 4.13, S.D.=0.63), and 2) the comparative results showed that teachers' opinions on educational management to promote school employability at the basic education level classified by overall school size is not different.
