Strategic Leadership of Islamic Private School Administrators under the Office of the Private Education Khok Pho District, Pattani Province

Abstract

This research study is a survey research. This research aimed to 1) To study the level of strategic leadership of Islamic private school administrators 2) To compare the strategic leadership of Islamic private school administrators classified by gender, work experience, and size of educational institution 3). To compile recommendations for developing strategic leadership of Islamic private school administrators under the Office of Private Education Khok Pho District Pattani Province. The sample group used in this research were administrators of private Islamic schools 260 schools, and proportional stratified random sampling according to the desired size. Validated it between 0.67-1.00, and the reliability by Cronbach’s alpha coefficient scored 0.972. The collected data were, then analyzed in frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviation, and content-oriented analytics. The research found that 1) The level of strategic leadership of Islamic Private School administrators had an overall level of “high”. 2) The comparison of the strategic leadership of the school administrators, according to genders found the level of strategic leadership had statistically significant no difference.  There were different significance on the variables of working experiences, and size of schools with statistical significance at .05 level. 3) The recommendations for developing strategic leadership are: Strategy formulation School administrators lead policies strategically to goals Benchmark, to construct cooperative on work strategies. provide opportunities for stakeholders to participate in setting the visions, and communicate openly for mutual understanding. They were creating the ability to predict plans and be proactive in determining the direction of educational institutions.
