Needs Assessment Development of School Administration Skills on Crisis under Bueng Kan Primary Educational Service Area Office

The purpose of this research is to assess the need for the development of crisis management skills among school administrators. The sample group includes educational institution administrators and teachers. Under the Bueng Kan Primary Educational Service Area Office, academic year 2022, a total of 342 people were obtained through multi-stage random sampling. The tools used in the research were a 5-level rating scale questionnaire which the part of current state indicated validity index ranged between 0.80-1.00, discriminative power index ranged between 0.48-0.79 and reliability value index at 0.98, and the desirable state indicated validity index ranged between 0.80-1.00, discriminative power index ranged between 0.33-0.42 and reliability value index at 0.96, and a questionnaire on development guidelines. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. and the ranking index of essential needs (PNImodified)
The research results found that 1. Components of crisis management skills for school administrators There are 7 elements as follows: 1) The most appropriate element. Accounting for 100 percent includes team management. Administrative aspect Creativity technology and digital use, and 2) the elements that are most suitable next Accounting for 80 percent includes communication. Human relations and strategic thinking 2. The actual situation of crisis management skills of school administrators, overall, is at a high level. And the condition that should be of the crisis management skills of school administrators is overall at the highest level. 3. Results of the assessment of needs in the development of crisis management skills of school administrators. Overall, there is an index for ranking essential needs. (PNImodified) is equal to 0.214. When considering each aspect, it is found that Technology and digital use (PNImodified = 0.450) had the highest value, followed by creativity (PNImodified = 0.310), change management (PNImodified = 0.295), team management (PNImodified = 0.158), and human relations (PNImodified = 0.132), communication (PNImodified = 0.121), and critical thinking (PNImodified = 0.108), respectively. 4. Guidelines for developing crisis management skills for school administrators in 3 areas, consisting of 1) technology and digital use 2) creativity and 3) change management
