The Development of Online Lessons on Computer Programs for Data Analysis for Third Year Students at The Faculty of Education, Phetchabun Rajabhat University

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop and evaluate the efficiency of online lessons on Computer Programs for Data Analysis for third-year students in the Faculty of Education at Phetchabun Rajabhat University, based on the 70/70 efficiency criterion; 2) to compare students' learning outcomes with the 70% achievement threshold; and 3) to investigate student satisfaction regarding the use of these online lessons. The sample consisted of 144 third-year undergraduate students from the Faculty of Education, Phetchabun Rajabhat University, enrolled in the 2023 academic year. The sample was obtained through stratified random sampling, using academic majors as strata. The research instruments included: 1) the online lessons on Computer Programs for Data Analysis; 2) a learning achievement test; and 3) a satisfaction questionnaire. The research findings were as follows: The four online lessons on Computer Programs for Data Analysis achieved an efficiency of 76.39/76.22, which exceeded the set 70/70 criterion. The students’ learning outcomes after completing the online lessons were significantly higher than the 70% threshold at a .05 level of statistical significance. The overall satisfaction of the students towards the online lessons was at a high level.
