Factors Affecting Levels of Violence from Social Action to the Different and Counterattack Through Social Media.

Abstract

This article aims to study the factors affecting levels of violence from social action to the different and counterattack through social media. This study is a qualitative research using the case study method. Internet tracking and in-depth interview were used for data collection. The issues were divided into four issues including; SOTUS, anti-coup, national security, and criticism of the monarchy. There are three groups of stakeholders in each issue including; actor group, the different group, and counterattack group. The key findings are as followed; the factors affecting levels of violence were found that there are four factors including; extremism factor, fact about the social phenomenon factor, timing factor, social network stream factor, and self-disclosure factor.
