ปฏิบัติการสร้างร่างกายใต้บงการของผู้ต้องขังหญิงในเรือนจำ

บทความชิ้นนี้ต้องการที่จะศึกษาปฏิบัติการสร้างความเป็นร่างกายใต้บงการ (Docile Body) ของผู้ต้องขังหญิงในเรือนจำ โดยการวิเคราะห์ให้เห็นกระบวนการสร้างตัวตนของผู้ต้องขังหญิงในปริมณฑลของรัฐสมัยใหม่ ซึ่งอำนาจและความรู้ของรัฐและอุดมการณ์ชายเป็นใหญ่ได้ร่วมกันสร้างความจริง ผ่านปฏิบัติการทางอำนาจหรือเทคโนโลยีแห่งอำนาจว่าด้วยการสังเกตการณ์ที่เป็นลำดับชั้นและการตัดสินเพื่อสร้างความเป็นปกติในเรือนจำ ภายใต้ข้ออ้างของระบบความถูกต้องในการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมผู้หญิงที่กระทำความผิดให้กลายเป็นพลเมืองดีหรือผู้หญิงที่ดีของสังคม โดยความจริงที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ได้เป็นอำนาจบังคับ หากแต่เป็นความจริงในฐานะแนวปฏิบัติในชีวิตให้ผู้ต้องขังหญิงคิด เชื่อ กระทำตามอย่างเชื่อฟังและปราศจากข้อสงสัย ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้อาศัยวิธีการศึกษาเรื่องเล่า (Narrative Approach) ตามแนวฟูโกต์เดียน (Foucauldian Approach) ภายใต้ฐานคิดหลังโครงสร้างนิยม (Post-Structuralism) เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนพูดคุยกับกลุ่มผู้เล่าเรื่องราวประสบการณ์ชีวิต นั่นคือ อดีตผู้ต้องขังหญิงในเรือนจำและเจ้าหน้าที่ของเรือนจำ โดยผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่า อำนาจ ความรู้ และอุดมการณ์ชายเป็นใหญ่ได้ร่วมกันสร้างปฏิบัติการทางอำนาจในระบบเรือนจำ นับตั้งแต่แรกเข้า วิถีชีวิตประจำวัน การแบ่งงานกันทำ รวมไปถึงความเป็นหญิงในเรือนจำ ซึ่งปฏิบัติการทั้งหลายนี้เป็นระบบความสัมพันธ์ทางอำนาจที่เกิดขึ้นภายใต้ระบอบความจริง อันผลิตสร้างและตอกย้ำให้ผู้ต้องขังหญิงกลายเป็นร่างกายใต้บงการหรือร่างกายที่สยบยอม ด้วยการควบคุมตนเอง (Self-Monitoring) และสร้างวินัยในตนเอง (Self-Discipline) อย่างมีสำนึกรู้ตามแนวปฏิบัติหรือความเป็นปกติในฐานะความจริงของเรือนจำ
