Transformative Learning: Challenged on Social Work Education

Abstract

Social workers must provide assistance to people experiencing social problems caused by inequality and social injustice. The problem is overlapping and complexcity. They works with a multidisciplinary team to provide assistance at all levels. Social workers should have knowledge, skills to work with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Improving learning styles that will truly transform learners, applying the theory of transformative learning and providing a learning environment for learners to face new experiences that do not meet their original thinking. Critical thinking and a new reference frame transition. This article presents examples of the application of learning to change in the context of Thai society. The aim is to apply the learning management in social work education to create new potential for new skills and potential in providing help.
