SATISFACTION AND ATTITUDES OF STAKEHOLDERS TOWARDS THE ACTIVITY MANAGEMENT OF COMMUNITY RELATION DEPARTMENT OF AMATA CITY CHONBURI

ABSTRACT
This research is quantitative research aimed to study the satisfaction and attitudes of communities around AMATA City Chonburi Industrial Estate towards its community relation activity management. The population of this research were inhabitants of Amphoe Mueng Chonburi, Amphoe Panthong, Amphoe Bangpakong, Amphoe Panasnikom, and Amphoe Klongpho. There were 452 samples from multi-stage sampling method. The research tool was a questionnaire. The research statistics were frequencies, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results showed that the samples were satisfied with every aspect of the activity management of community relations department at the highest level. The overall satisfaction aspect was the highest score aspect at 4.53. The second was the activity management which continuously supported its communities’ activities and its frequent participation in communities’ activities at 4.43. The third was the satisfaction of advantages for communities in which participated in the projects/activities at 4.40. The activities which people most participated were Songkran festival, water blessing to pay respect to the elderly, and the forestation in honorable of the royal family. The most convenient media they exposed were online media and social gathering. Regarding the attitudes of surrounding communities towards AMATA Groups related to community relation activity management were at high level in every issue. The highest score was about higher employment rate, more development and civilization of surrounding areas and more stability and prosperity of communities at the level of 4.38. The community development of AMATA has built stronger relationships with surrounding communities at 4.36 and it has promoted more security and better people’s life quality at 4.35.
