INFLUENCING OF THE EFFICIENCY IN TRANSPORTATION ON DECISION TO USE LINE MAN SERVICE IN BANGKOK

Abstract

  The research was aimed to study 1) the influence of transportation efficiency on the decision to use Line Man service in Bangkok; and 2) the level of the decision-making to use Line Man transport of people in Bangkok. The sample group was chosen using the accidental sampling and consisted of 400 respondents from people who were using Line Man transport service in Bangkok. The tool for data collection was a questionnaire. The statistics for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple linear regression analysis by forward selection technique. The results of the study showed that 1) the transportation efficiency on economy, convenience and certainty had influenced on the decision to use Line Man service in Bangkok with statistical significance at 0.05. While the other two factors which consisted of the efficiency of transportation on speed and safety had no influenced on the decision to use the Line Man service in Bangkok; and 2) the level of the decision-making to use Line Man service in Bangkok is high.
