Abstract

A conceptual framework for managing transparency in public higher education institutions is presented in this article. To lessen any potential issues in management transparency. This issue is an important one that has a direct impact on the development of public higher education institutions as a whole. This issue could be solved by promoting transparency inside the organization. So promoting transparency in public higher education institutions. Must begin with the management of four departments inside higher education institutions, including: 1) budget management, 2) general management, 3) personnel management, and 4) academic management. By promoting transparency in all 7 aspects, i.e: 1) disclosure, 2) accountability, 3) information access, 4) credibility, 5) rules/policy, 6) standardization, and 7) responsibility. When state higher education institutions use this management framework for managing transparency in their operations. Greater transparency in higher education institutions may come from this, which may increase public trust.
