Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the condition of strategic leadership for academic administration, 2) study important factors in developing strategic leadership for academic administration, and 3) propose guidelines for developing strategic leadership for administration. Academic work of schools under local administrative organizations Chiang Rai Province, Southern Zone Group. Population includes 397 teachers and educational personnel in schools under local administrative organizations. Chiang Rai Province, Southern Zone Group. The sample group consisted of 196 teachers and 20 school administrators who were selected using the purposive sampling method. The research tools were questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and focus group recordings. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results of the study found that: 1) The condition of strategic leadership for academic administration. The overall level is at a moderate level with an average of 3.50. When considering each aspect, creating organizational culture is at the highest level with an average of 3.56; 2) Important factors in developing strategic leadership for academic administration include: Factors Motivation is stimulating and motivating teachers to organize teaching and learning activities according to the effective curriculum, assigning work according to their aptitude, promoting the use of technology in teaching and learning activities, measuring and evaluating results according to the goals of the educational institution, and Regularly monitoring and building morale for teachers; Supporting factors include assigning work to suit one's abilities, providing a budget, arranging training, promoting and supporting the joint creation of a curriculum, measuring and evaluating results, and supervising and monitoring the teaching process to meet the educational standards of the educational institution. ; 3) Guidelines for developing strategic leadership for academic administration consist of three aspects: setting organizational direction, implementing strategies, and creating organizational culture.
