The Development and Usage of Creativity Writing Exercises in Thai Language Learning Areas for Prathomsuksa 3 Students

The purposes of this research were to develop creative writing exercises in Thai Language for Prathomsuksa 3 students in order to have the efficiency criteria 80/80, to compare pretest and posttest results of usage their writing exercises in Thai Language, and to study the students' satisfaction toward learning activities from the creative writing exercise. A sample group for this research was 20 students in Prathomsuksa 3 level of Patiw School, Chiang Mai Primary Education Service Area Office 2, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province during the second semester in the academic year of 2013. Tools were used for gathering the information included 18 creative writing exercises,18 lesson plans for creative writing, the evaluation of the students' satisfaction toward learning and teaching by using the creative writing exercises. Data were analyzed by using frequency, mean, percentage and standard deviation.

Research Results were found that

1. The efficiency of creative writing exercises of Thai language department for students in Prathomsuksa 3 followed the standard criterion 80/80 which its total mean was 81.67/83.83.

2. The achievement of creative writing of Thai language department by using the creative writing exercises for students in Prathomsuksa 3 showed the index of efficiency to 30.99.

3. The students' satisfaction toward learning activities by using creative writing exercises had been excellent in overall at the highest level with 4.75 in its mean and 0.76 in standard deviation.
