Assessment of Training and Seminar Project to Increase Administrative Efficiency of Nakaew Municipal District, Ko Kha District, Lampang Province

The study titled "Assessment of training and seminar project to increase administrative efficiency of Nakaew Municipal District, Ko Kha District, Lampang Province" had the objectives to assess the training and seminar project to increase administrative efficiency (TSPIAE) of Nakaew Municipal District (NMD) and to recommend guidelines to develop the TSPIAE of NMD, Ko Kha district, Lampang province. The author collected data from the executives, members of NMD council, municipal officers and hired staff totaled 50 persons and assessed the project by using CIPP (CIPP Evaluation Model) consisted of context, input factor, process and output by using an in-depth interview together with a questionnaire to collect quantitative data. Statistics for basic data analysis was percentage and for the analysis of opinion levels were means and standard deviations by using a computer package and contents analysis for interview form. The findings could be concluded as followed :

For context or environment: it was found that the project was in accord with the real needs of the trainees and it was necessary to have the training project. The overall picture of the assessment was at a high level.

For input factor: it was found that the project was suitable for the venue, materials, equipment and budget; the trainers could teach and transfer knowledge well and chose appropriate training techniques with clear curriculum in accord with the trainees' needs and suitable training period for activities. Overall picture was assessed at a high level.

For the process: it was found that the project had arranged steps of contents in the curriculum continuously and well connectedly; each curriculum helped the trainees' learning including developed the trainees to adjust themselves and adapted their thinking process to the present situations and worked well as a team that created harmony in the group. The overall picture was assessed at a high level.

For output: it was found that the project encouraged the trainees to have love, harmony and good attitude towards working in their assigned duties and their co-workers. The overall picture was assessed at a high level.
