Guidelines for the Educational Management of Multilingual Concepts Based on the Mother Tongue Languages of Elementary School Students at Kaenoisuksa School

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to examine the educational management conditions of students from grade 1 to grade 3 at Kaenoisuksa School, and 2) to explore the guidelines for educational management of multilingual concepts based on the mother tongue of students from grade 1 to grade 3 at Kaenoisuksa School, Mueang Na Sub-District, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province. This study was a qualitative research and 9 key informants consisted of a school director, a deputy director and 7 teachers. The tools were interview framework and focus group discussion, and then the data was the content analysis.
The results revealed that:
1) The conditions of learning management which were the weaknesses and limitations of Kae Noisuksa School, Chiang Dao District, Chiang Mai Province, There were 6 issues, especially the issue that was a problem for learning management, including the educational management according to the multilingual concept by using the mother tongue based on the educational institution that was still unclear. This was an issue that must be resolved urgently.
2) The guidelines for educational management of multilingual concepts based on the mother tongue for elementary school students as follows: 1) the guidelines for studying the context of educational management according to multilingual concepts based on the mother tongue, 2) the operational guidelines for learning management according to multilingual concepts based on the mother tongue that consisted of the process of learning management by using the mother tongue and student’s culture were the basis with learning medias to develop thinking skills and connect to Thai language and culture systematically which met the goals of the bilingual curriculum.
