Abstract

            The objective of this research paper focuses on the levels of Public Participation in Waste Management of Songphra Community, Department of Bangrak District Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. A sample population of 351 people who lives in Songphra community area.
Data have been collected by questionnaires. The collected data have been statistically analyzed and interpreted for social science research.


            The research result reveals that most of them are female, aged between  30 - 39 years, educated in high school / vocational levels, merchant and business men, reside in the community during 5 - 10 years. According to the levels of participation, it stated that at high level, ( = 3.86, S.D. = .474), in overall, has been found. It particularly stated that the evaluation participation (= 3.92,S.D. = .518), the achievement participation (= 3.90, S.D. = .550), decision making participation ( = 3.80, S.D. = .551), and performance participation ( = 3.80, S.D. = .541) have been found respectively.
