Application of Good Governance Principles in Thung Maha Charoen Subdistrict’s Health Promoting Hospital at Wang Nam Yen District in Sa Kaeo Province

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to study the application of good governance principles in Thung Maha Charoen Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Wang Nam Yen District, in Sa Kaeo province. Also, it is to guide how to improve its application to it. The findings are as following; the overall application’s score of the good governance principles in Thung Maha Charoen Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospitalof Wang Nam Yen District, Sa Kaeo Province, is at a medium level (mean 3.30, SD = 0.82). Classifying into each aspect, the principle of participation was at the highest level (mean 3.42, SD = 0.87), the following is the principle of transparency (mean 3.32, SD = 0.8) and the least is principles of morality (mean 3.17, SD = 0.75). Therefore, the guidelines for the further development in the application of good governance principles of Thung Maha Charoen Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Wang Nam Yen District in Sa Kaeo Province. In this case, improving morality’s score promoted by allowing its personnel to focus and be aware of the performance according to the guidelines and ethics of the profession to the best of their ability. Besides, work and management should base on discretion and contingency decisions in case these critical situations affecting people's lives and health.
