บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้นำเสนอมุมมองแนวหลังนวนิยมจากการศึกษานวนิยายเรื่อง ชินด์เลอร์ส ลิสต์ ประพันธ์โดย โธมัส เคนนีลลีย์ ซึ่งได้ตีพิมพ์ครั้งแรกในปี ค.ศ. 1982 แม้ว่านวนิยายเรื่องนี้จะไม่ถูกจัดให้เป็นงานเขียนแนวหลังนวนิยมก็ตาม หากแต่ก็มีเนื้อหา น้ำเสียง และ จิตวิญญาณของกระบวนการเคลื่อนไหวแนวหลังนวนิยมอยู่ไม่น้อย การศึกษาครั้งนี้ได้นำเสนอและอภิปรายลักษณะของงานเขียนแนวหลังนวนิยมสามลักษณะที่พบในนวนิยายเรื่องนี้ ได้แก่ ความผสมกลมกลืนของเรื่องจริงและเรื่องแต่ง การนำเสนอความย้อนแย้ง และการทวนวิเคราะห์ประวัติศาสตร์เอกภาพ ผลการศึกษาแสดงให้ตระหนักว่ากระบวนการวิพากษ์แนวหลังนวนิยมนั้นสามารถจาระไนลักษณะอันแท้ของมนุษย์ได้ แม้ว่าโดยปกติของทฤษฎีวิพากษ์แนวนี้จะมีความลวงของความคิดและจินตนาการที่ท้าทายความเข้าใจและอภิเชษฐ์ของผู้อ่านอยู่บ้าง
