บทคัดย่อ
บทความเรื่องภาพของสตรีฝรั่งเศสในบทกวี “แด่คุณพยาบาล แอ็มมา เปแยลวีล” ของเลโอปอลด์ เซดาร์ ซ็องกอร์ เป็นการศึกษาบทกวี “Pour Emma Payelleville L’infirmière” โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาพของสตรีฝรั่งเศสซึ่งปรากฏในบทกวี โดยกวีได้ประกอบสร้างภาพสตรีฝรั่งเศสตามแนวคิด “แม่แอฟริกา” ตามหลักสุนทรียะแบบแอฟริกาผิวดำ เพื่อสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของชาวแอฟริกาผิวดำและตอบโต้เจ้าอาณานิคมในช่วงศตวรรษที่ 19 ซึ่งประเทศฝรั่งเศสเข้ามายึดครองแอฟริกา นอกจากนี้ซ็องกอร์พยายามขับเคลื่อน “อารยธรรมแห่งสากล” เพื่อให้เกิดการผสมผสานระหว่างวัฒนธรรมฝรั่งเศสกับแอฟริกา ในบทกวีซ็องกอร์เชื่อมโยงศิลปะสองแขนงไว้ด้วยกัน ได้แก่ ศิลปะด้านการประพันธ์และด้านจิตรกรรม โดยภาพสตรีฝรั่งเศสที่ปรากฏมีความเชื่อมโยงกับภาพ “แม่แอฟริกา” แบบดั้งเดิมในฐานะ “นักบุญหญิง” ซึ่งนำแสงสว่างสู่มนุษยชาติด้วยพลังศรัทธาในศาสนา “ผู้มีบทบาทสำคัญในประวัติศาสตร์การเปลี่ยนแปลงของมนุษยชาติ” และ “ผู้เป็นรากฐานอันมั่นคงของสังคม”
