การพัฒนาการออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ทันสมัยของกรมราชทัณฑ์: กรณีศึกษา เรือนจำพิเศษกรุงเทพมหานคร

บทคัดย่อ

เฟอร์นิเจอร์และผลิตภัณฑ์ของกรมราชทัณฑ์มีรูปแบบของประเพณีนิยม (Traditional Style) หรือรูปแบบคลาสสิก (Classic Style) ด้วยการใช้ไม้จริงที่มีขนาดใหญ่น้ำหนักมาก รูปทรงแตกต่างกันไปและการใช้งานไม่สะดวก เช่น เก้าอี้มีพนักพิงที่มีความตั้งชันกับตัวเบาะรองนั่งจะส่งผลให้การนั่งไม่สบายในแต่ละทัณฑสถานมักจะมีรูปแบบที่คล้ายๆ กัน โดยการใช้วัสดุพื้นถิ่นเรือนจำพิเศษกรุงเทพมหานครผลิตเฟอร์นิเจอร์และผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีความแตกต่างจากที่อื่นๆ คือ มีรูปแบบทันสมัย โดยผสมผสานการใช้วัสดุหลากหลายประเภทเข้าด้วยกันอย่างไรก็ตาม ยังมีปัญหาในเรื่องของการออกแบบที่ปรากฏ เช่น รูปแบบที่ไม่สวยงามการเลือกใช้วัสดุ ขนาดของเฟอร์นิเจอร์ รวมไปถึงประโยชน์ใช้สอยในเรื่องของการใช้งานที่ตรงกับพฤติกรรมความต้องการของผู้บริโภค วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยต้องการจะพัฒนาการออกแบบเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในห้องนอน เพื่อการใช้งานที่สะดวกขนาดของเฟอร์นิเจอร์เหมาะสมต่อพื้นที่ ด้วยการใช้วัสดุโดยการผสมผสานให้เกิดความแปลกใหม่ และสวยงาม อีกทั้งเพื่อเป็นการขยายฐานการตลาดเฟอร์นิเจอร์ทันสมัยสู่กลุ่มลูกค้าใหม่ รวมไปถึงการพัฒนาการฝึกอาชีพในด้านการออกแบบไปสู่การผลิตให้แก่ผู้ต้องขัง และยังสามารถสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้แก่เรือนจำ และผู้ต้องขังอีกด้วย ผลของการวิจัยพบว่า เฟอร์นิเจอร์ในแต่ละชนิดควรมีการใช้งานที่สะดวก ควรมีระยะการใช้งานที่เหมาะสมแก่ผู้ใช้และมีขนาดเหมาะสมกับพื้นที่ที่ใช้งาน ดังนั้นพฤติกรรมของผู้ใช้จึงมีความสำคัญในการใช้งานของเฟอร์นิเจอร์แต่ละชนิด และออกแบบให้เหมาะสมกับพฤติกรรม กิจกรรมของผู้ใช้งาน วัสดุที่ใช้ทำเฟอร์นิเจอร์ด้วยไม้จริงทำสีธรรมชาติ ได้รับความนิยมสูงสุด เช่นเดียวกับ การทำเฉดสีอ่อน หรือสีเข้ม และการผสมวัสดุ เช่น งานเหล็ก งานหวาย เป็นต้น ก็เป็นที่ได้รับความนิยม เช่นกัน ประเภทเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในห้องนอนที่ชอบคือ เตียง เป็นลำดับที่ 1 รองลงมาเป็นตู้เสื้อผ้า และโต๊ะตัวเตียง บรรยากาศที่มีความพึงพอใจมากที่สุด จะมีลักษณะเป็นชุดเฟอร์นิเจอร์ที่ใช้สีอ่อน เช่น สีขาว หรือสีครีมพ่นสลับกับสีไม้ และผนังจะเป็นเฉดสีน้ำตาลครีม เพื่อเป็นการสร้างบรรยากาศที่อบอุ่น สรุปได้ว่าเฟอร์นิเจอร์ชุดห้องนอนทันสมัยควรมีรูปแบบสวยงามเน้นความเรียบง่าย โดยใช้สีจากธรรมชาติ และสีเฉดอ่อนหรือสีเฉดเข้มเป็นหลัก

Abstract

Furnitures and decorative products of the department of correction. Most of the furniture are designed in the traditional and classic style. Most of the furniture use teak or teak plywood as the main material. The furniture are very large and heavy, different in shape size and style for each piece therefore make them difficult to move around, and not comfortable to sit on. Because the sitting position of the seat and back are perpendicular to each other and therefore are not useable functionally. Each prison will use the same design Bangkok Remand Prison have different approach to design their furniture and decorative products in modern style. The choice of the material are to mix the material such as wood, metal, glass, plastic laminate, and natural material. the design of the furniture still have some problems such as furniture's function, the selection of material, furniture size, and the finish products. In the fulfillment the needs and wants of the consumer that visited the Bangkok remand prison's furniture shop.This research conducted to improve the design of bed room furniture in the aspect of functional, furniture's size that suitable for the space, the selection of materials use to make it more modern. This research expanding modern furniture's market segment and new consumer, and to develop new production process to train aim at the prisoner in order for them to survive after their released, and to add value for the Department of Corrections and the prisoners.This research found that bed room's furniture should be functional for user's activity differently regarding the user's activity for example, the working distance, and the space require. In order to design each type to furniture the important factors are user behaviors in activity. The most popular finishing for bed room's furniture is to use materials such as teak wood, teak plywood are natural color. The use of light color (White, cream) and dark color (brown, dark brown) with the mix use of metal and rattan is also popular choice. The most desirable piece of bed room's furniture are bed, closet and night table. The highest response from questionnaire about the mood of decoration that is furniture set that painted with light color (white, cream) with the natural wood color, and the wall painted in cream of light brown as it gave warmth and comfortable felling. In conclusion, furniture should appears modern with simple line with the use of natural color of teak wood or pain ted in light-dark color.
