บทคัดย่อ

หากเปรียบการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมเสมือนกับการทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์ การออกแบบอาคารที่ทำการองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลหนองปรือ อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการในครั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยมีวัตถุประสงค์หรือตั้งสมมุติฐานในการออกแบบคืออาคารสำนักงานอันเป็นที่ตั้งของส่วนราชการซึ่งทำหน้าที่ในการขับเคลื่อนความก้าวหน้าของชุมชนนั้น จะต้องมีการใช้งานอาคารที่ประชาชนเข้าถึงง่าย การเชื่อมต่อระหว่างหน่วยงานภายในที่ไม่ซับซ้อน ที่ว่างภายในและภายนอกอาคารมีความกลมกลืนกับคนในชุมชนผู้ใช้อาคาร ลักษณะภายนอกของอาคารสัมพันธ์กับบริบทอาคารบ้านเรือนในชุมชนและที่สำคัญต้องสะท้อนถึงลักษณะสถาปัตยกรรมไทย ผลการทดลองออกแบบคือได้อาคารสามชั้นมีชั้นจอดรถใต้ดินเป็นอาคารเดี่ยวมีลิฟท์โดยสารและทางลาด เพื่อประหยัดเนื้อที่อาคารในที่ตั้งโครงการสำหรับสร้างอาคารประกอบอื่นๆ ลักษณะอาคารเป็นแบบไทยประยุกต์ร่วมกับลักษณะอาคารสากลโดยใช้วัสดุร่วมสมัยได้แก่ คอนกรีตขัดมัน กระจกวงกบและบานกรอบไวนีล กระเบื้องผนังภายนอกบางส่วนเป็นกระเบื้องเซรามิค หลังคาเป็นแบบทรงไทยมงุ ด้วยกระเบื้องว่าว ตับบนสุดเป็นหลังคาโคง้ มีกันสาดและค้ำยันรอบอาคาร เพื่อให้อาคารมีความโดดเด่นเมื่อมองจากสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิและเส้นทางสัญจรโดยรอบ จะเห็นได้ว่าผลการทดลองนั้นมีหลายประการที่เปลี่ยนไปจากสมมุติฐานหรือวัตถุประสงค์ดังกล่าวข้างต้น อันเนื่องมาจากการรับฟังความคิดเห็นร่วมจากคณะผู้บริหารองค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลหนองปรือ ถือเป็นการแสวงหาข้อตกลงร่วมกันระหว่างผู้วิจัยหรือผู้ออกแบบและคณะผู้บริหารหรือผู้ใช้งานอาคาร สุดท้ายเมื่อผลการวิจัยออกมาเป็นเช่นใดนั้นผู้วิจัยถือเป็นประสบการณ์การออกแบบที่สำคัญและสามารถนำไปปรับใช้กับผลงานการออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมในอนาคต
