กลไกการขับเคลื่อนเครือข่ายสังคมเศรษฐกิจของชาวสวนยางพารา: กรณีศึกษา กลุ่มยางทวีผล อำเภอนาหม่อม จังหวัดสงขลา : Mechanism of Rubber Planters in Socio-Economic Networks: A case study of Taveepol Rubber Group in Namom District, Songkhla

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อค้นหากลไกขับเคลื่อนเครือข่ายสังคมเศรษฐกิจของชาวสวนยางพารา กรณีศึกษากลุ่มชาวสวนยางพาราทวีผล อ.นาหม่อม จ.สงขลา ซึ่งประสบความสำเร็จในการสร้างเครือข่ายเพื่อดำเนินธุรกิจรับซื้อน้ำยางสดส่งผลต่อเนื่องให้สมาชิกมีความมั่นคงในการดำรงชีวิตมากขึ้น ผลการศึกษาช่วยให้เข้าใจถึงปัจจัยในการดำรงไว้ซึ่งความเข้มแข็งของกลุ่ม และเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับกลุ่มชาวสวนยางอื่นๆ ได้ตามบริบทที่แตกต่างกัน ตลอดจนสามารถเป็นฐานที่เข้มแข็งให้กับกลุ่มในระดับใหญ่ต่อไป โดยพบว่า การขับเคลื่อนเครือข่ายทางสังคมเศรษฐกิจของชาวสวนยางกลุ่มนี้ประกอบด้วยกลไกสำคัญ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) กลไกหลักเชิงพื้นที่ โดยเฉพาะลักษณะโครงข่ายการสัญจรที่เชื่อมโยงกันอย่างทั่วถึงทั้งในระยะใกล้ไกลระหว่างบ้าน-สวนยาง-ที่ทำการกลุ่มยาง ช่วยให้เดินทางและขนส่งผลผลิตได้สะดวกรวดเร็ว 2) กลไกหลักทางสังคม ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกิจกรรมทางสังคมเศรษฐกิจและเครือข่ายสนับสนุนต่างๆ ได้ช่วยยึดโยงการรวมกลุ่มของชาวสวนเหล่านี้ไว้ และ 3) กลไกเสริมจากปัจจัยภายนอก นโยบายภาครัฐราคาผลผลิตและเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ ที่ช่วยให้ชาวสวนมีความสะดวกสบายมากขึ้น

Abstract

This research aimed at finding the mechanism of rubber planters in socio-economic networks witha case study of Taveepol rubber group in Namom District, Songkhla. The group was successful in buildingbusiness networks for purchasing fresh rubber. This gave the members more secure livelihoods. The resultfrom the present study will build understanding about factors relating to maintaining the group’s strength andcan also be usefully adapted by other rubber groups from different contexts. The result can also serve as abase for larger groups in the future. It was found that the mechanism of rubber planters in socio-economicnetworks of Taveepol rubber group comprised of 3 aspects which were 1) the main mechanism on space,especially in the form of commuting networks which connected every area among houses, rubber fields andthe rubber group headquarters. This led to faster and more convenient on product transportation 2) socialmechanisms which related to socio-economic activities and network support. This helped hold the group togetherand 3) outside supporting mechanism from the public sector especially the product prices and technologicalfeatures for more comfortable farming.
