กระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานภาพถ่ายชุด “ความทรงจำและจำ” (“Mind and Impressive...”)สำหรับการจัดแสดงผลงานนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายจากตุรกี

Abstract

     บทความนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่ออธิบายถึงกระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานภาพถ่ายขาวดำจากการเดินทางเป็นเวลาสิบวันในประเทศตุรกีของผู้วิจัยเพื่อนำมาจัดแสดงในนิทรรศการภาพถ่ายจากตุรกี Turkish Delight ที่หอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานครของคณาจารย์สาขาวิชาการถ่ายภาพคณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าคุณทหารลาดกระบังระหว่างวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม - 3 สิงหาคม 2557 

     ในบทความนี้จะทำการบรรยายถึงขั้นตอนกระบวนการเตรียมงานกระบวนการคิดและการผลิตภาพ อธิบายถึง ประสบการณ์ของช่างภาพที่ต้องเดินทางในพื้นที่ที่ไม่คุ้นเคยซึ่งเป็นลักษณะปกติทั่วไปของการถ่ายภาพ สารคดีโดยแบ่ง
     กระบวนการอธิบายออกเป็นสองส่วนได้แก่ 1. การสร้างสรรค์แนวคิดในการทำงานและการทำงานในพื้นที่ที่ไม่คุ้นเคย 2. กระบวนการการคัดเลือกภาพเพื่อจัดแสดงและกระบวนการการผลิตภาพถ่ายการสแกนภาพการพิมพ์สภาพในทางปฏิบัติของการทำงานถ่ายภาพช่างภาพจะต้องเข้าไปทำงานในพื้นที่ไม่คุ้นชินหรือไม่เคยไปมาก่อนโดยมากมักจะมีระยะเวลาในการทำงานจำกัด ดังนั้นกระบวนการค้นหาและสร้างแนวคิดในขณะที่เดินทางถ่ายภาพหรืออยู่ในพื้นที่ปฏิบัติงาน จึงเกิดขึ้นอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงไม่ได้และเมื่อช่างภาพเหล่านั้นนำภาพกลับมาก็มีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องทำการตัดเลือกรูปเพื่อนำไปตีพิมพ์หรือจัดแสดงตามรูปแบบของการนำเสนอในสื่อต่างๆ กระบวนการทำงานของช่างภาพมักจะไม่ค่อยได้รับการอธิบายเท่าใดนักทั้งที่เป็นการทำงานที่มีขั้นตอนอย่างเป็นระบบ ซึ่งในบทความชิ้นนี้ผู้เขียนพยายามที่จะอธิบายกระบวนการการทำงานของตนเองทั้งสองส่วนเพื่อที่จะได้เป็นแนวทางให้กับช่างภาพและผู้สนใจได้เห็นกระบวนการที่เป็นรูปธรรมเพื่อนำไปสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในรูปแบบของตนต่อไป

    This article has been written to explain the creative method for the 10 days travel in Turkey photography exhibition “Turkish delight”, by the group of Photography instructors Department of Communication Design
Faculty of Architecture King Mongkut Institute of Technology Land Krabang at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre between July 15th - August 3rd, 2014.
This article would present the way that photographer create his thinking process to create the concept for his own narrative, the working on the location, the images selection and the printing process.

    This article divides in two part the first part convey how did the photographer developed his concept and how did he work on locations. The second are show how the photographic production such as the scanning from films, the printing process and the images editing for exhibition are created.

   Practically, many photographers alway work in the unfamiliar areas at limited times, so the informationto prepare for their trip are difficult for them to crate their ‘s concept, narrative form and looking for the subject that can present their story. Also the images editing and photo printing are serious process which photographers have to concern in difference forms of presentation. However, the photographer’s working method is not seldom explain beside present their own final works.On the other hand the working process are needed to be explain as well. I use my photography project which present in this exhibition and use the documentary photography narrative form to present the way that photographer develop his project from the point of creating the concept to select the picture for exhibition step by step, in order to show others photographer as an example to guide them to create their own arts work.
