แนวทางการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่น กรณีศึกษา ตำบลตลาดไทร จังหวัดนครราชสีมา

บทคัดย่อ
ปัจจุบันการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่นยังขาดแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่เหมาะสม การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อสำรวจเก็บข้อมูลผู้สูงอายุ สภาพทางสังคม เศรษฐกิจ สภาพกายภาพที่พักอาศัย และการใช้งานพื้นที่ใช้สอยที่พักอาศัยของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่น พื้นที่ตำบลตลาดไทร อำเภอประทาย จังหวัดนครราชสีมา และ 2) เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่น โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง แบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ 1) กลุ่มผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ จำนวน 10 คน และ 2) กลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ จำนวน 13 คน โดยงานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ใช้วิธีการศึกษาด้วยการลงพื้นที่สำรวจภาคสนาม สัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และการสนทนากลุ่ม ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่มีโรคประจำตัวและมีปัญหาทางสภาพร่างกาย ด้านรูปแบบการอยู่อาศัย ผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่มีอาศัยอยู่แบบลำพังคนเดียว และผู้สูงอายุส่วนใหญ่เคยเกิดอุบัติเหตุในพื้นที่ที่พักอาศัยในลักษณะการสะดุดหกล้มในพื้นที่ทางเดินรอบบ้าน ส่วนด้านลักษณะที่พักอาศัยส่วนใหญ่เป็นบ้านชั้นเดียว ส่วนด้านปัญหาสภาพแวดล้อมและพื้นที่ใช้สอย พบว่า ห้องนอน/พื้นที่นอน พื้นที่พักผ่อน/รับแขก พื้นที่ครัว ห้องน้ำในบ้านและห้องน้ำนอกบ้าน ทางเดินภายในบ้าน เฉลียง/ระเบียง ทางเดินรอบบ้าน ที่จอดรถ และครัวนอกบ้าน เป็นพื้นที่ที่มีปัญหาทางกายภาพและมีผลกระทบต่อการใช้ชีวิตประจำวันของผู้สูงอายุ จากผลการศึกษาได้นำมาสู่การเสนอแนวทางการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่น มีการนำแนวทางปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยที่ได้นำเสนอไปสู่การปฏิบัติการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยในพื้นที่ชุมชนตำบลตลาดไทรอย่างมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน จำนวน 2 หลัง แนวทางการปรับปรุงที่พักอาศัยที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนท้องถิ่นสามารถนำไปใช้กับชุมชนที่มีบริบทเหมือนกัน และองค์การปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นที่มีบทบาทโดยตรงสามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการกำหนดแผนปฏิบัติการต่อไป
