ความทรงจำของข้าพเจ้าและมารดาสู่งานสร้างสรรค์ภาพยนตร์สารคดีอัลไซเมอร์

บทคัดย่อ
โรคอัลไซเมอร์เป็นหนึ่งในโรคที่เกิดจากความเสื่อมถอยของสมอง ถือเป็นโรคที่ไม่สามารถรักษาให้หายขาดได้ ยาที่มีในปัจจุบันทำได้แค่เพียงช่วยยืดระยะเวลาให้ผู้ป่วยสามารถช่วยเหลือตัวเองได้นานที่สุด แต่สุดท้ายแล้วก็จะไม่สามารถช่วยเหลือตนเองได้อีกเลย ดังนั้นการดูแลผู้ป่วยจึงมีความสำคัญและมีความจำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง อีกทั้งในปัจจุบันภาพยนตร์สารคดีที่เกี่ยวกับโรคสมองเสื่อมยังหารับชมได้ค่อนข้างน้อย ทำให้ประชาชนทั่วไปก็ยังมีความเข้าใจว่าสมองเสื่อมเป็นเพียงแค่การหลงลืมทั่วไป ซึ่งผู้วิจัยมีประสบการณ์ในการดูแลมารดาที่ป่วยเป็นโรคอัลไซเมอร์ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2549-2559 ทั้งที่มีอายุเพียงแค่ 57 ปี ได้ผ่านประสบการณ์ตรงรวมถึงได้เห็นความเปลี่ยนแปลง ทำให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจและอยากถ่ายทอดให้กับแพทย์ พยาบาล ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยและประชาชนทั่วไป งานวิจัยเรื่องความทรงจำของข้าพเจ้าและมารดาสู่งานสร้างสรรค์ภาพยนตร์สารคดีอัลไซเมอร์เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงสร้างสรรค์ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ถ่ายทอดความรู้ความเข้าใจในความเปลี่ยนแปลงของโรคอัลไซเมอร์ผ่านภาพยนตร์สารคดี 2) ถ่ายทอดความทรงจำของข้าพเจ้าในการอยู่ร่วมกับผู้ป่วยอัลไซเมอร์ผ่านภาพยนตร์สารคดี และ 3) ประเมินผลงานภาพยนตร์สารคดีความทรงจำของข้าพเจ้าและมารดาผู้ป่วยอัลไซเมอร์ โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผู้วิจัยได้มีการศึกษาค้นคว้าวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องตลอดจนถึงการสนทนากับบุคคลใกล้ชิดกับคุณแม่เพื่อระลึกความทรงจำและนำมาเขียนบทภาพยนตร์สารคดีจากนั้นจึงทำการสร้างสรรค์ภาพยนตร์สารคดีสั้นความยาว 20 นาที หลังจากนั้นจึงนำภาพยนตร์สารคดีไปประเมินโดยผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านภาพยนตร์สารคดีและผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านโรคสมองเสื่อมจำนวนทั้งหมด 12 ท่าน
ผลการวิจัยตามวัตถุประสงค์ข้อที่ 1) พบว่าภาพยนตร์สารคดีสามารถถ่ายทอดความรู้ความเข้าใจในความเปลี่ยนแปลงของโรคอัลไซเมอร์ได้ ซึ่งเรื่องราวของคุณแม่ ช่วยสะท้อนเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นจริงกับผู้ป่วยโรคอัลไซเมอร์คนอื่น ๆ ได้ในสังคม 2) พบว่าภาพยนตร์สารคดีสามารถถ่ายทอดความทรงจำของข้าพเจ้าในการอยู่ร่วมกับผู้ป่วยอัลไซเมอร์ได้ด้วยภาพถ่ายและฟุตเทจที่ใช้เป็นเรื่องจริงที่เกิดขึ้นและมีหลากหลายเหตุการณ์ ทำให้เห็นถึงความทรงจำของลูกที่มีต่อแม่ 3) การประเมินผลความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการสร้างสรรค์ภาพยนตร์สารคดีพบว่า ภาพยนตร์สารคดีสามารถถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวและให้ความเข้าใจชีวิตของผู้ป่วยโรคอัลไซเมอร์ได้เป็นอย่างดีจากภาพถ่ายและวิดีโอที่เคยบันทึกไว้ในอดีต ซึ่งจะช่วยให้ผู้ชมรวมถึงผู้ดูแลได้ตระหนักถึงความจริงของโรคอัลไซเมอร์ที่มากกว่าการหลงลืมทั่วไปรวมถึงข้อคิดที่ได้จากการชม อย่างไรก็ตามภาพยนตร์สารคดีสั้นเรื่องนี้ยังสามารถพัฒนาให้ดีต่อไปได้ ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่ต้องอาศัยทักษะและประสบการณ์ในการทำภาพยนตร์สั้นมากขึ้น
