Vital Factors That Influencing the Ddecision to Choose LED Lighting to Install in Controlled Factories and Buildings

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study the influence of government policy and law enforcement, awareness of the value of energy conservation, marketing mix, and satisfaction on the decision to use LED lights in controlled factories and controlled buildings. This research employed quantitative research, the sample consisted of 400 respondents including the division heads, managers, and managing directors working in controlled factories and controlled buildings located in Bangkok and five nearby provinces: Chonburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Samut Prakan, and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Analyzed with structural equation modeling. The research findings showed that: model fit Chi-square/df =1.95, RMSEA= 0.049, GFI=0.95, CFI=0.98, PGFI=0.50, RMR=0.023, the awareness of the value of energy conservation had the greatest overall influence on the decision to use LED lights in controlled factories and controlled buildings, followed by marketing mix, satisfaction, and government policy and law enforcement respectively
