In particular, the dismantling of a corruption network in local government civil service examinations has caused widespread damage and drawn intense criticism from society. This national-level operation involves various groups, from officials involved in the examination process to allegations of influential groups or politicians being behind it—a matter that requires further clarification from an academic perspective. This has led to a crisis of trust in the civil service system: citizens lack confidence in the transparency of local administrative organizations and the agencies responsible for administering the examinations, resulting in a decline in the quality of public administration. We offer our encouragement to all those involved who uphold principles of righteousness and good conduct to continue doing so for the continued prosperity of the nation.
