Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present knowledge about Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after coping. As well as applying positive psychology to Post-Traumatic stress disorder in counseling which the author reviews literature and related research. And a present for the benefit of a counselor who has to help the clients with Post-Traumatic stress disorder to be able to cope and know the symptoms, and also benefits the medical personnel involved in helping patients with Post-Traumatic stress disorder.


From the study, it can be concluded that the use of positive psychology in counseling or therapy to help people who is Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder has caused the client to thrive. Which focuses on using the strengths of clients and positive methods to treat, rather than focusing on the negative experiences. This method will help clients adjust their thinking processes, hope, and value. And still have a positive feeling or even more positive experiences. Positive psychology is the effective method of treatment.
