Knowledge, Attitude and Practice towards Cannabis use among People in Northern Thailand

Abstract
This was a quantitative research. The purposes of the research were 1. to examine the relationship between personal factors and behavior in cannabis use 2. to study the differences of cannabis knowledge affecting attitude for using cannabis 3. to study the differences of cannabis knowledge affecting cannabis practice and 4. to investigate the relationship between attitude for using cannabis and cannabis practice. The primary data were gathered from 400 people in north area of Thailand. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Moreover, hypotheses testing were conducted using Chi-square, One-way ANOVA and Multiple regression. The analysis of this study was used the statistically significant of 0.05.
The results of the research indicated that the differences of salary significantly impacted to the behavior in cannabis use. The difference of cannabis knowledge level significantly impacted to the medical and social attitude. The difference of cannabis knowledge level not significantly affected on the cannabis practicing dimensions. Furthermore, the cannabis attitude dimensions, including medical, legal and policy, economic and social affected on the cannabis practicing significantly at the level of 0.05.
