The Competitive Advantage of Room Rental Business During Covid-19 Relate to the Success of Business Organization in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

The Article were aims 1) to study the relationship between competitive advantage of room rental business and the success of business during Covid 19 2) to study the satisfaction of room rental tenants during Covid 19.  This research was mixed method, qualitative research used in-depth interview 12 rental business entrepreneurs.  Quantitative research was conducted to select a sample group from room rental tenants without using probability for 385 samples. The tool was a questionnaire to collect the data with analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics.  The result find out that the most of them were female, aged 15-26 years, single, bachelor degree, monthly income 16,601-23,600 baht.  The most of them had the high level of satisfaction.  The result of in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs were found that all 12 persons are owners.  There was a consensus that the competitive advantage of business on service differentiation, cost advantage and specific market segments and the target groups which were related to the success of the business with profit increases 9 from 12 rental business.  Making profits by reducing various costs.  And from the correlation in the same direction, there was a positive value and greater than 0, Sig. was equal to 0.00, (P<0.05).  This research found that from improving the delvelopment of rental rooms to resorts or hotels, sharing on a daily and rent out on a monthly for income and more profitable which having a car park for customers and collected fees for outsiders, generates subsequent income.  Sanitary service, security of tenants with key card innovation.  To apply technology by using solar panels to control the on–off of the lights which can save electricity by reducing a lot of costs.
