Approach to Development of Safety Management In Sam Group Security Company

Abstract
The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) to study problems of safety management in Sam Group Security Company, Muang District, Nonthaburi Province 2) To study guidelines of safety management in Sam Group Security Company, Muang District, Nonthaburi Province. The sample group consisted of 248 security guards in the company who were collected data by using questionnaire survey. In addition, In-depth Interviews were conducted with 10 stakeholders who involved in the safety management of the of Sam Group Security Company and Focus Group discussions were conducted with 11 data contributors on Purposive Sampling Technique. The results showed that the problems of safety management in Sam Group Security Company, Muang District, Nonthaburi consisted of 4 factors which are 1) Problem of occupational health and working environment which caused by the use of the equipment that is not proficient and maintenance system 2) Problem of management guidelines for life and property security which caused by physical conditions that is not ready to work, shortage of manpower, addictive substance and workers’ altercation 3) Problem of security management in term of workers’ knowledge which caused by lack of knowledge exchange and communication 4) Problems of safety tools and supporting equipment management in the workplace which caused by system management Special equipment and accessories and duration of training according to the curriculum. Approach to Development of Safety Management in Sam Group Security Company, Muang, Nonthaburi Province should 4 dimensions should be developed according to research studies to enhance the quality of life for personnel to perform their duties effectively.
