Abstract
This Research Article aimed to study the purchasing behavior, attitudes, and motivations towards the herbal hair color shampoo of consumers. Data were collected in a survey study format to measure results only once through 400 Generation X consumers using purposive sampling, quota sampling, and accidental sampling. The statistics used to analyze the data included the F-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple comparison using the L.S.D. (least significant difference) test, and chi-squared analysis. The findings revealed that the majority of the sample was male (52.5 percent), aged between 46-55 years (38.5 percent), and had a bachelor's degree (43.8 percent). Most of them were self-employed (22.0 percent), and had a monthly income of 15,000-25,000 baht (33.3 percent). The most popular purchase of herbal shampoo to cover gray hair was at 7-Eleven, with an average of 27.5, or the highest level. and the overall motivation towards using herbal shampoo to cover gray hair was at an average of 4.13, or a high level. The results of this study will be useful as a guideline for improving and developing herbal shampoo products to cover gray hair in a way that is appropriate for marketing plans in line with the current changing consumer behavior. The overall attitude towards using herbal shampoo to cover gray hair was at an average of 3.87, or a high level, and the overall motivation towards using herbal shampoo to cover gray hair was at an average of 4.13, or a high level.
