HEALTH PROMOTION ACTIVITIES OF PUBLIC TRAINING UNITS OF PANGPOUY SUB-DISTRICT, DAMNOENSADUAK DISTRICT, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The research article was to study health promotion actives, comparison of the opinions, problems, obstacles, and suggestions for health promotion actives of public training units of Pangpouy Sub-district, Damnoensaduak District, Ratchaburi Province, conducted with the mixed research methods that the quantitative research used the questionnaire as the tool to collect the data in the field study from 383 samples who were people at Pangpouy Sub-district. The statistics used for the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, F-test, One-way Analysis of Variance and Least Significant Difference: LSD. The qualitative research collected data from  the document and interviewing 7 key informants in the field study. and analyzed the data through the content analysis technique.

Finds were that health promotion actives of public training units, by  overall, was at high level. Samples with different sex, age, education, occupation, and income had different opinions at statistically  significant level at 0.01. The hypothesis was accepted. Problems and obstacles were that Buddhist monks who trained people were not certified by the government and the Sangha. There should be  encouraging the Buddhist monks who trained people to be approved by the government and the Sangha. And obstacles from COVID 19, public training activities should be conducted online.
