THE DEVELOPMENT OF KAEM LING PROJECT'S AREA

Abstract

This academic article aimed to present concepts related to the study and considering that development of “The Kaem Ling project” or (Monkey Cheeks project) Royal Irrigation Department in various dimensions, including the retarding basin appropriate size, change management of reorganization and related legislation and operation economic, social and environment, networking and participation in all sectors of networking collaboration participation. By criticizing the information into factors that would bring about the knowledge in water resources management in adequate for the need as well as the sustainable development of The Kaem Ling project’s area in the future in accordance with Royal Irrigation Department’s missions and strategies. This study will be beneficial for Royal Irrigation Department in order to increase efficiency in water management of the country according to natural balance.

In conclusion, the development of the monkey cheek area will be carried out to drain the water from the upper area so that the water flows into the canal, resting at the seaside. Then, when the sea level drops to below the water in the canal, The water in the canal flows naturally into the sea. Afterwards, it begins pumping water out of the canal that acts on the monkey's cheeks, causing the upper water to gradually flow, causing flooding of the area to dwindle, until eventually, when the sea level is above the level in the canal, the drainage gate is closed, allowing the water to flow down one way.
