POLICIES OF POLITICAL PARTIES AFFECTING PEOPLE'S DECISIONS IN SONGKHLA PROVINCE IN THE GENERAL ELECTION B.E. 2562

Abstract

Objectives of this Research were:  1. To study and analyze the general condition of political party policy proposals, 2. To study the components of political party policy making, and 3. To present the Buddhist principles in the development of political party policy making that affected the decision of the people of Songkhla Province in the general election., conducted by the mixed research methods. The qualitative research by interviewing 18 key informants and thee quantitative research collected data with questionnaires from 400 samples analyzed by describing the frequency distribution in the table. The results showed that 1. The general condition of the policy proposals of political parties in Songkhla Province, the strength was that the policy to provide welfare allowances for the elderly and support tourism. The weak point was the lack of support to have a comprehensive welfare card. Opportunity was to promote welfare to learners. through educational institutions and threats, namely lack of strengthening the foundation 2. The composition of the political party's policymaking, it was found that the overall decision-making of the people of Songkhla Province was at a moderate level. when considering each aspect, it was at   moderate level in all aspects; and 3. The development of political party policy making that affected people's decision-making. According to the principle of Itthipada 4, the overall level was at moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at moderate and high level, in the following order; party policies based on Vimamsa principle, Chitta principle, Viriya principle, and Chantha principle.
