Abstract

PURPOSES: To outline characteristics of effective and efficient educational institution administrators for the 21^st century from Buddhism principles. METHODS: Documentary research and Buddhism principles. RESULTS: The Buddhism principles that management can apply in educational administration are principles of power, qualities of a good man, sublime states of mind principles, basis for success and virtues or duties of a ruler. CONCLUSIONS:  If the administrators of educational institutions apply such principles, it will create a progress in the education sector and a sustainable country.
